Before Paying the Enrollment Deposit
Explore your housing and dining options.
Read about our 28 residence halls, including Fairchild Hall, a residence hall with an international theme. Learn more about our three dining halls and
our extensive menu of meal-plan choices. Place your housing/dining order by May 1 using your MyUNH account.

Make enrollment, housing and dining deposits.
Pay your enrollment and housing deposits by May 1: $550. Payment methods and information can be found below.

After Paying the Enrollment Deposit
Set up your UNH email account.
Set up your new UNH email address through your MyUNH account. After you log in to your MyUNH account, click on the WildcatsMail tab. Then, follow the instructions to complete your new UNH email account. .
After Paying the Enrollment Deposit
Request visa documentation.
You will receive an email from the Office of International Students and Scholars on how to officialy request your visa documentation. You will be asked to provide the following:
Copy of Admission Decision Letter
Copy of Passport Biographic Page
Foreign Address Information
Copy of Supporting Financial Documents

Get your visa as early as possible.
As an international student coming to the United States to study, you will be required to obtain a visa prior to traveling abroad. Visit the UNH Office of International Students & Scholars site for detailed visa instructions. Please note that Canadian students are not required to obtain a visa, but are required to present the Certificate of Eligibility and declare themselves as a student at the US port-of-entry.

Prepare for incoming international student orientation.
The International Student Orientation is a program designed for all new international students (undergraduate, exchange, graduate, and transfer) to learn about immigration rights and responsibilities, cultural adjustment and academic expectations. Please note that attendance is mandatory.
